Dr. Laura Del Valle, DVM

Bilingual Chief of Staff | With Lake Alfred Animal Hospital Since 2019

Dr. Laura Del Valle brings warmth, energy, and a deep passion for veterinary medicine to every patient she treats. Born and raised in San Germán, Puerto Rico, she earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University in 2015. She began her career in Odessa, Texas, working in a mixed-animal practice and caring for a wide variety of species.

Known for her vibrant personality and strong client relationships, Dr. Laura is passionate about creating lasting bonds with pets and their families. Outside the hospital, she enjoys volleyball, surfing, sewing, and spending time with her husband, Francis, and their three beloved dogs—Guengui, Isabella, and Viejito.

Dr. Yvette Sepulveda, DVM

Bilingual Veterinarian | With Lake Alfred Animal Hospital Since 2026

Dr. Yvette Sepulveda’s love for animals began in her childhood in Mexico, where caring for stray pets inspired her lifelong passion for helping animals in need. She attended St. George’s University and has special interests in dermatology, surgery, and emergency care.

She and her husband chose to settle in Central Florida for its welcoming community and outdoor lifestyle. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and beach days with her dogs. Her home is full of energy and love thanks to her nine pets—three dogs and six cats.

Dr. Jonathon Keener, DVM

Veterinarian | With Lake Alfred Animal Hospital Since 2026

Dr. Jonathon Keener earned his veterinary degree from Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine, combining his lifelong passion for animals, nature, and science into a fulfilling career in veterinary medicine. He enjoys all aspects of patient care, with particular strengths in dermatology, surgery, and working with exotic animals. He also has a special passion for fish medicine, bringing unique expertise to aquatic species.

Originally from Anchorage, Alaska, Dr. Keener was drawn to Florida by his love for scuba diving—especially exploring caves and coral reefs, making the area a perfect fit both professionally and personally.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Keener enjoys spending time scuba diving and gardening. At home, he cares for a lively group of animals, including a large Labrador mix, chickens, and a variety of fish, reflecting his deep appreciation for animals of all kinds.
